A single-vehicle roll-over occurred on Mast Boulevard in Santee Friday afternoon that required a rescue unit to respond to free the trapped driver.
The accident happened at about 12:20 p.m. across from West Hills High School. The driver had to be freed from the car using the "jaws of life," said police. One lane of traffic was closed for about an hour.
The driver was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital, the extent of injuries wasn't revealed by the Sheriff's Department.
