The City’s public works staff will construct the leash-free zone at , with construction expected to begin soon, considering possible delays by winter storms, according to the City's website.

The City reports that the fenced-in dog area at will take slightly longer to complete because it will be more costly, and requires a public bid process, which should be rolling by mid-March.

This will ensure safety for everyone, including the dogs. It is just so much fun watching all of the dogs play and get some great exercise. Congratulations to everyone involved in this project.

Did you watch the video montages that I put together? The dogs have so much fun there! We're hoping to make another soon once I get enough video clips.
Soon I will be rolling out a NEW site specifically for the Woodglen Vista Dog Park, since not everyone is comfortable using the Facebook page I created (privacy concerns and such). We will be holding a rummage sale and other community activities to help raise money for the Woodglen Vista Dog Park. I'm excited that we're finally getting a safe, fenced in area! Hooray! www.santeedogpark.com (short link to the FB page)

Can't send messages to Dad because he's now deceased, but my dad was very wise...He'd say thingsRead More like: "You can get arrested for what you say, but not what you think!" - or - "Take care of your feet, and they'll take care of you!" My dad wasn't much for words, but he was always a stable figure growing up and was loyal to mom throughout the years. Nowadays, that in and of itself is honorable! Thank you Dad! In Loving Memory...
