Santee Council to Consider Stop Signs at Jeremy Street and Ramsgate Drive

Below is a summary of what is due to occur at this week's Council meeting. Santee Patch regularly reports on important happenings at the meetings, so check back for the lowdown.

The next meeting of the City Council begins Wed., June 12, 2013 at 7 pm:

New Stop Signs
Numerous residents have requested the city convert a two-way stop sign at the intersection of Jeremy Street and Ramsgate Drive to a four-way stop sign. City staff suggest that this all-way stop would improve the overall safety of the intersection, especially due to its proximity to Hill Creek Elementary School.

Relocation of Residents for Prospect Avenue Widening Project
Five individuals or families will be displaced due to the acquisition and demolition of property for the Prospect Avenue Widening Project. The Council will vote on the $442,000 relocation benefits for property owners.

Budget
Council will further review the draft budget for Fiscal Years 1013-14 and 2015-16.
