Surveys by the East County Economic Development Council of over 1,500 businesses conducted from September 2009 to the present revealed that small businesses are often confused about new lending rules and regulations. Business owners frequently stated they need to learn if they qualify for credit and how much.
Learn about access to credit given recent regulatory reform, what options are available for particular businesses. Owners can speak with bank representatives, schedule appointments for future one-on-one counseling, and gather information to grow their businesses from other resource providers.
Participatants include ACCION San Diego, Bank of America, California Bank and Trust, CDC Small Business Finance, Union Bank, US Bank and Wells Fargo. Other providers include the Small Business Development Center, SCORE and SDG&E.
