Save the date for the 10th Annual Creek to Bay Cleanup, on Saturday, April 28th! Register online now at www.creektobay.org.

Do more with your morning by volunteering at one of 86 coastal and inland cleanup sites countywide. You might be closer to a site than you think. Check out our expanded reach: http://g.co/maps/uxdww.

Last year, 5,350 volunteers removed 80 tons of debris from our local environment, not only protecting our communities countywide, but also preventing marine debris caused by litter that travels from local creeks, streams and storm drains to the coast where it contaminates our bays and beaches. In addition to litter removal, volunteers can take part in projects including storm drain stenciling, tree planting, weeding, and graffiti removal.

All supplies will be provided by trained site captains, but to reduce waste this year, we are asking volunteers to consider swapping disposable cleanup supplies for reusable alternatives, such as a reusable water bottle, bucket, burlap, and gardening/work gloves. Help us save on supplies and cut down on plastics by bringing your own reusable cleanup supplies to the event. Please also wear sun protection, closed toed shoes, and bring along a signed waiver.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
