Fly a Kite Day

June 15th is the anniversary of Ben Franklin's kite experiment in 1752.

Join us at our beautiful Town Center Community Park (anywhere there is not a reserved field or organized game) and come fly a kite with us!

It is recoomended to bring your own kite, however there may be a few extra kites to borrow if there is interest.

The typical Santee afternoon wind start up at around 3pm and taper off around 6pm.

We are hoping to eventually gain support from the City of Santee to make this an official annual park event, but for now it will just be a few people down at the park flying kites for fun.
