Trout Season at the Santee Lakes lasts from Nov. 6 to March 31st. 2000 pounds of trout will be stocked on opening day, and re-stocked ten times during the season. Fish up to 12 pounds will be stocked. Opening day prizes for five largest fish of the day, and prizes for certain tagged fish. Catch a trout five pounds or heavier and you'll be entered into a flat screen TV raffle. The Lions Club will be at Lake Four with opening day breakfast burritos.
