Santana High School girls varsity water polo team handily won against Mar Vista at the playoff game Wednesday afternoon with a score of 15-10.
The Sultans mostly dominated the game, but Mar Vista outscored in the last quarter with six points.
"Our goalie played out of her mind, saved us a couple times," said Santana Coach Mitch Seeley.
Sultan's senior Amber Schisler scored the most points in the game- a whopping nine goals. She was featured as a "player to watch" by the Union Tribune in December.
Santana will go on to play top-ranked Bishop's Friday at 4 p.m. at La Jolla High.
"Friday will probably be pretty rough," said Seeley.
