Cajon Park Wins 2013 Santee Junior Olympics; Hundreds of Kids Get Active [PHOTOS]

Cajon Park was the winner of the 2013 Kiwanis Junior Olympics, a day of athletic competition between Santee schools, held Saturday morning at Santana Stadium. Second place went to Carlton Hills and Carlton Oaks finished third. 

"All of the athletes that competed left it all out on the track... a great showing by all the students," said Dan Bartholomew with Santee Kiwanis.  

"Many thanks go out to organizations and businesses in the community that supported with time, material, or finances. They include the Santee School District, Santana High School, Nite Rider Technical Lighting Systems, Santee Lakes, Walgreens, Sharp Business Systems, and Ronn Hall Insurance and Notary Service. We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of community support for this event and want to thank everybody who gave generously of their time and resources."
